A free service for freight forwarders to automate the distribution of grain transportation registries launched in Ukraine

The Ukrainian IT company GrainTrack, which develops software for automating business processes in grain trading, has launched a free online service that simplifies the distribution of loading and unloading registries for vehicles carrying grain cargo.

“Currently, distributing grain transportation registries takes a lot of time for freight forwarders. Grain traders, who are the recipients of these distributions, also spend time transferring the information into their accounting systems, as each forwarder sends registries in their own format. We decided to help market participants simplify their work,” said GrainTrack founder and CEO Dmytro Mychalchuk.

According to him, the direct users of the service are freight forwarders, but both freight service providers and their clients — grain traders — will benefit from its use. Forwarders will no longer need to create separate registry distributions for each individual client. Thanks to the service, this can be done all at once by compiling the necessary data into a single Excel file.

For this, all that’s needed is to enter the email address of the company to which the report is addressed next to each vehicle. Using pre-prepared templates for each company, the system will automatically send emails to all recipients. Each email will have a personalized subject, body, and file format for the attached registry.

The advantage for grain traders is that they will receive transportation registries in the required format, which they can pre-agree upon with the freight service provider. Forwarders can access the service for free. To do so, they should contact the company’s technical support team at the phone numbers listed on the website.
