Client Case: What Insights in Your Data Are You Overlooking Every Day?

Continuing the Topic of Reports and BI
Sometimes clients (especially new ones) underestimate the value of data analysis and visualization, thinking it’s just about colorful charts that are “nice to look at” while real results show up in the bank account. That’s partly true, but not when data can warn you in advance why there’s less money in the bank account in the end.
Today, we’ll showcase a few examples that take just half an hour to generate in our system but have already brought real benefits to our clients.
All the examples we showcase use real report formats but do not contain actual data of our clients. The examples are not ranked by priority or importance.
Example 1: Debt Radar: Tracking Outstanding Payments by Manager
🔍 How to read it:
1️⃣ See a list of responsible managers and the counterparties they oversee.
2️⃣ Consolidated information on payments and outstanding debts for each counterparty.
💡 What it provides:
1️⃣ Identifies trends in which managers have the highest outstanding debts (regardless of contract volume).
2️⃣ Allows assigning tasks to managers to ensure necessary payments are made.
Example 2: Late Payers Unmasked: Overdue Payments & Aging Trends
🔍 How to read it:
1️⃣ View counterparties and their outstanding debts by contract and shipment.
2️⃣ See the exact number of days overdue.
3️⃣ Identify the longest overdue amount per counterparty.
💡 What it provides:
1️⃣ Pinpoints which counterparty owes the most and for the longest time. It’s easy to identify counterparties likely to delay payments because “they’ve done it before.”
2️⃣ Categorizes outstanding debt into specific risk levels (normal, acceptable, critical, bad debt). A simple accounts receivable number without aging doesn’t give a complete picture, and business owners often assume the full amount will eventually be paid.
3️⃣ Identifies counterparties with a history of late payments and their average delay period.
Conclusion
There are many more insights like these, and we will continue sharing the most interesting ones periodically.
The insights hidden in your data are invaluable for making the right business decisions, spotting trends, and uncovering hidden opportunities. This applies not only to data specialists who work with reports daily but also to managers who check the system periodically and want to see key dynamics at a glance.
