GrainTrack Implements Integration with 1C Software

The GrainTrack team is implementing its first case of integrating its system with the “1C” software. This integration is being carried out at the request of one of our clients, and the first stage has already been completed.

The possibility of integrating GrainTrack with 1C is a common question we hear from grain traders when we begin cooperation. Accounting at enterprises is most often done in 1C, and when introducing another program, management wants to avoid conflicts between the two systems.

Technically, such integration is possible, and we have previously stated our readiness to implement it. The challenge lies in the fact that a universal solution cannot be created to allow all GrainTrack clients to automatically use the integration with 1C. This software is sold under a franchise, and different companies use different versions of the program, which are also frequently customized to meet specific client needs. Due to these circumstances, the integration of GrainTrack with 1C must be done individually for each user.

At the beginning of this year, we received our first specific request for such an integration from one of our clients. Today, two teams are working on the integration — representatives from GrainTrack and representatives from the 1C provider. The integration is planned to be carried out in four stages: the first stage will enable the transfer of data on counterparties, the second will cover contract data, the third will focus on logistics registries, and the fourth will handle invoices.

As of the April release of GrainTrack, we successfully completed the integration of the first block. In the near future, other blocks will also be integrated, which will allow the client to avoid double data entry. Traders and execution teams will enter transaction data into GrainTrack, which will then automatically transfer to 1C for use by the accounting department in generating the necessary financial reports.
